Cloud and rain patterns in store over parts Friday through weekend and Monday
A low-pressure system is affecting the area with some clear weather and highs in the mid 30’s but also clouds and possibly afternoon rain in the days ahead.
Friday skies are expected to be mostly clear with clouds formations on and off moving through the sky over local areas. Increasing clouds are also expected in the afternoon hours along with low chances of rain in the mountains, inland, as well as along the eastern shores.
Strong winds, choppy waters
Strong winds are likely in the afternoon in the south and out west, while the sea will be relatively calm in the early part of the day and then waters will become gradually choppy.
Low clouds and light fog are expected to form downwind over local areas especially in the early morning hours
Maximum highs are expected to reach 35° degrees Celsius inland, around 31 in the north and out west, 33 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 25 up in the mountains.
Evening weather is expected to be mostly clear with increasing clouds on and off in the north and out west.
Low clouds and light fog are expected to form downwind over local areas especially in the early morning hours.
Minimum lows will be 22 degrees in the interior and along the coast, while it will be 15 up in the mountains.
Wet weekend ahead
Weekend weather is expected to be mostly clear but with increasing clouds on and off over local areas. Rain chances remain low but wet weather is more likely to occur in the afternoon mainly over hilly areas.
Sunday and Monday skies will be mostly clear with increasing clouds around noon and in the afternoon. Chances or rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected inland and in the mountains.
Temperatures will begin to rise slightly on Sunday and remain above normal averages on Monday.
