Week starts with new heat advisory

Another yellow warning has been issued for Monday, following a similar alert Sunday due to extreme high temperatures with 40-degree weather inland.

A low pressure system is still affecting the island while a yellow warning will go into effect Monday morning at 11am due to extreme high temperatures inland, likely to rise to around 40° degrees Celsius. The weather alert will run through late afternoon at 5pm.

Clear weather is expected Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with temperatures slightly above normal averages for this time of the year
