Since Monday morning, February 25, a cloud of dust has hung in the air over Cyprus. In the afternoon it should be washed away by the rains. At night, it will be three to four degrees warmer than the average rate typical for this time of year.
According to the Department of Air Quality Control at the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Cyprus, by 8 am, yellow dust levels were recorded in Larnaca, Nicosia, Limassol and Zigi.
According to forecasts of Cypriot weather forecasters, thunderstorms will rattle over the island in the second half of Monday. The probability of precipitation is 100%. The peak of precipitation will be in the western part of the island.
On Tuesday, February 26, short rains will be held in the morning. The temperature will correspond to the February norm. On Wednesday, it will rain again in Cyprus. Snow will fall in the Troodos Mountains, and in the afternoon it is even possible in the foothills. At the same time, the air temperature will decrease by two to three degrees throughout the island.
