Clear skies but low pressure moving in

A low pressure system has moved into the area as temperatures begin to drop with chances of rain later in the week mainly out west.

Monday skies were expected to be clear in the early part of the day with increasing clouds in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains, and very strong winds along the southern coastline.

Tuesday and Wednesday weather will be mostly clear with increasing cloud formations over local areas mainly in the mountains. A further temperature drop is expected on Wednesday.

Rain chances are likely by midweek on the western coast where clouds will be increasing around noon and in the afternoon hours. Thursday temperatures are not expected to change.
