Cyclamen is called the national flower of Cyprus. It grows mainly in the mountains of Kyrenia. These flowers have a pleasant aroma and are usually white or pink. Cyrus Cyklamen is one of 23 types of cyclamen. This species is endemic for Cyprus and one of three cyclamen species found on the island (along with Cyclamen persicum and Cyclamen graecum ). Usually found under trees on stony soils. Plants – perennial. Cyclamen Cyclamen is 7–15 cm high. The flowers are fragrant, white or pale pink, and there is a purple or purple spot at the base of the petals. Flowering begins in the middle or end of September and lasts until January, sometimes until March. Remarkably grown in gardens, on well-drained soils, in shade or partial shade.
